Crab Shack: Your Go-To Destination for Fresh Crabs and Delicious Snowballs

We’re from Md, our families were watermen and we love our crabs. Just moved here and bought crabs for homemade crab soup. These were just as tasty as any from Md’s Eastern Shore. Great Job !

The crabs are always great and the Snowballs 2. Can't wait for them to open up this summer. my family's been getting crabs there for years. Coming from south of the Mason-Dixon line in my thirties it was the one thing that I missed Old Bay blue crabs from the Eastern Shore. Now living here and being adopted as a Pennsylvania and almost 28 years agoI found a few decent seafood places. However, I don't think any compare and have as good a taste as Crab Shack! Plus they were my first Saving Grace for crabs. As well been making them taste great for the last 25 years! this is a family-run business and both wife Lori who runs the snowball end of the business and her husband the crabs are wonderful hard-working people and always a pleasure to deal with. over the last 10 yearsif you were a regular customer you even seen the son and daughter putting time in helping their parents at the business. They always seem to find great young peopleto maintain the business in the evenings at the snowball stand. Always busy kicking out snowballs, cones, an ice cream sundaes to customers lined across the parking lot quickly,courteously, while always wearing a smile and being friendly. The staff or usually alwayswonderful promising young peoplethat are primed to be the potential of our communityand is wonderful as the small business owners who employed in here! kudos to a wonderful establishment. I'm waiting for crab time! I'll be back after I'm done picking those for a snowball at Desert time. Thank you guys for always providing a good experience let's use the tummy as well as the soul.

4th of July weekend ! Everyone wants crabs. It seemed every place I called or stopped into was backed up with orders and not sure if they could fill our order. I thought I had checked with Everyone. I missed the one 2 miles from my house, here in Hanover. They got me a half bushel of med/ large for $175. Fair price. Had them ready when I said I needed them. Great guys.

Our go to place for a summer treat. Reasonable prices. We didn't realize it was cash only and a caring stranger paid our bill lovely soft serve ice cream, Sundays, shakes, and a whole list of shaved ice flavors.

Always have the best crabs in hanover. Always friendly and cheerful. But best of all you're buying real MD crabs not those diet crabs from way down south. I'll only buy my crabs here ive learned that lesson.
